The Prize will be awarded to the proposal that is most focused on highlighting best practice examples of research which has been transferred to end users and resulted in measurable impact, while supporting the Blue Society vision.
Nominations can be for a person, a project or an initiative. You can nominate yourself, your own project and/or others. To apply, complete the online form before 19 January 2018 (23:59 CET): https://www.esurveyspro.com/s/403156/COLUMBUS
This winning submission will be chosen based on a scored assessment by the COLUMBUS Evaluation Committee, and announced at the 3rd COLUMBUS International Blue Society Knowledge Transfer Conference, which will take place in the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Brussels on 24 January 2018, entitled ‘Making Marine and Maritime Research Count’.
The COLUMBUS project, a flagship European Union-funded Blue Growth initiative, directly responds to the EU’s demand that Europe needs to get more innovation out of its research, focusing on the marine and maritime aspects.
